Nuclear Materials Synthesis
Open to collaborators, our facility supports safe, nuclear materials synthesis using advanced equipment tailored for molten salts, isotopes, and electrochemical testing.

Glove Boxes for Materials Handling
- Argon-filled for safe nuclear material handling.
- Four glove boxes, each 12 ft long and 4 ft deep, with double-sided access.
This top-of-the-line inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer can measure elements in a sample in quantities as low as 0.1 parts per trillion.

Potentiostats
- Used for purification, analysis, post-processing (e.g., isotope extraction).
- Help control the electrical environment during material synthesis and characterization.
- We have six units for electrochemical testing of molten salts.
